PCSO Lotto jackpot starts at a minimum of P30 million for Grand 6/55, P16 million for Super 6/49, P4.5 million for Mega 6/45 and P4 million for Lotto 6/42. For every consecutive drawing in which there is no winner, the jackpot is increased in relation to ticket sales.

But some bettors are puzzled or questioning about why after the jackpot reset at the minimum, the jackpot is not increased even there is no winner on the previous draw?

After jackpot reset at the minimum and ticket sales are enough to meet the percentage for the prize fund for the next draw the jackpot would be increased by more than the minimum. But, if revenue from ticket sales falls below expectations, the minimum pot will not increase. And still will not increase only until reached the percentage to increase the prize.

When the jackpot becomes excessively large, it may increase substantially due to increased ticket sales.
